NuUnion Credit Union announced today that they are now merged with Detroit Edison Credit Union. Once the merger is completed, would be the new name Lake Trust Credit Union.
Institutions refer to themselves as solid and stable, but said a merger operational efficiency, and even creating "greater financial strength and resources."
Some of the legal obstacles must be overcome before the merger is completed. It is a new institution in the top 1% of credit unions to introduce a national level and the fourth largest credit union in Michigan in terms of asset size.
